Our high capacity Hull Beater is unsurpassed in efficiency as well as performance. The model 4620 Double Drum Hull Beater is uniquely designed with a built in tailing beater eliminating the need for additional conveying systems. Capable of handling capacities in excess of 200 tons per day of delinted & undelinted cottonseed, the model 4620 is unequaled in the industry. When combined with the CEC/BAJAJ decorticator/separator system, oil in hulls is maintained at a low level, even with 12 % to 14% lint on hulls. Flow of Material
High volumes of either delinted or undelinted cottonseed hulls enter a force feed conveyor which throws the hulls into the top beater chamber. The fine hulls and meat particles that pass through the top drum perforated screens are conveyed to the tailings beater (or hull purifier). Hulls from both chambers are discharged into a common mechanical or pneumatic conveying system for removal top storage. Fine meat particles are discharged into a conveyor to be fed into the main meats system for further processing.
